At Imperial Docks by Design, we believe a dock is an investment that should not only be functional and aesthetically pleasing, but most importantly of quality construction. We work very hard to ensure that each dock we build surpasses our customer's specific expectations. Our three dock product lines allow for endless component configuration possibilities. Our commitment to quality is evident in our three distinct stages of dock construction. Our projects begin with the conceptual phase. During this phase we take the time to visit your site and discuss your vision of the dock that best fits your needs. First, we cover component configurations and the dock's physical location. We then identify the applicable dock series based on your requirements, including material selection, and optional accoutrements. If you desire to have a feature incorporated into your dock that we do not currently offer, we will be happy to provide a customized solution to satisfy your desire. We then lay out a detailed description of the dock design, and present it to you in a formalized proposal.

Finishing Well

Once we have completed the conceptual phase of your project, we can then begin to make the vision a reality. Jobsite mobilization marks the beginning of our implementation phase. During this phase we are careful to ensure that you are given progress reports as frequently as you desire. We invite our customers to come out and watch the various stages of construction as they unfold. Our onsite Construction Manager will be happy to answer any questions that you may have at any time during construction.

The final stage of dock construction is the certification phase. Our Construction Manager completes a post construction inspection to ensure that the final product meets our standards for quality. We then invite you to inspect the dock to ensure that it exceeds your expectations in terms of quality of construction, fit and finish of components, and overall appearance. Once you are happy with your new dock we will demobilize your site, and your warranty period will officially begin. Each dock that we construct includes a 1 year structural warranty.

This three step approach helps us to compartmentalize, and then focus individually on the key tasks that result in a finished product of exemplary quality.
